With over 130 rare archive images and over two dozen pages of superb colour profiles this is an extraordinary survey of the late war Fokker Parasol fighter following its limited service in WWI. An absolute goldmine of information and we have a few copies in mint condition.

..and so it has with David Brown's excellent Profile Publications 224 on the beloved amphibious biplane that became such a welcome sight for downed airmen in the English Channel during World War Two. Written by David Brown with six pages of colour profiles by P Endsleigh Castle, this 48 page monograph packs a lot in. Forty archive images provide support to the author's concise and informed narrative which will be a vital asset to modelllers of the immortal 'Shagbat'. Although our copy has some inked numbers on the front and inner covers, it is complete if a little careworn and remains an essential source for anyone modelling this iconic aeroplane.

'The first detailed story of the Company and its famous planes' ran the subtitle of this 1964 booklet authored by Peter Grosz and Egon Kruger. 24 pages plus hard covers, it presents over 55 archive images; historical notes; table of aircrafrt characteristics and seven pages of contemporary official rigging details. We have just one copy which shows some ageing but it is complete and a nostalgic glimpse into a time when good WWI aviation books like this were thin on the ground.

This 64 page soft-back title was published buy Arms and Armour Press in 1985 and contains over 116 rare images of WWI German aeroplanes and airships that served in the country's air arm during the First World War. Many well-known types are covered and with images especially chosen for their rarity and clarity provide a superb visual record of these early warbirds. Our copy is a little worn with some minor creasing but is complete. Signed by author Ray Rimell.
