WINDSOCK WORLD WAR CENTENARY -SUMMER 2015

The Summer 2015 number begins  an extended news section  with news of upcoming WWI kits from Airfix; more great models from our readership and reviews of recent WWI books and journals. Main contributions in Vol.31, No.2 include a detailed build log for a WingNut Wings Sopwith Pup; part 2 of Lance Krieg's 1915 Centenary Bleriot model and a unique plans feature on the diminutive LFG V.19 Putbus submarine -borne spotter. Sopwith Pups are profiled by Ronny Bar with three colourful examples, whilst James Fahey offers three pages of superb close-ups of the recent TVAL reproduction offering a vital resource for all  Pup modellers.We remember Bill Rimell in a special dedication and there are the usual reviews of decals, accesssories and recent kits, such as the Bat Project Gotha GL.VII and six 1:72 scale Pups from H R Model.
