THIS Winter issue kicked off with a look at BE nightfighters with a dozen BE2C/2E photos showing weaponry and equipment with three monotone profiles showing typical examples; followed by a particularly lively Propwash column and a spread of great readers' models including a mind-boggling super-detailed 1:72 scale Fokker Triplane. The editor contributes a conversion using the Airfix Albatros D.V ,some plastic sheet and HSP to produce the unlovely Albatros Dr.I -a scale three view is also included. On other pages we look at the AEG G.IV twin-engined German bomber with some great large-area photos of the captured G.1125/16 in all its glory. Close -ups of the unique surviving Canadian example are provided and the issue's Fabric column has details of AEG colours with two paint chips matched to original Greyish Magenta and Dark Green, part of the four- colour hexagonal camouflage. Our three parter on B C Hucks concludes;a superb double-page spread of previously unseen Lloyd C.II photos is presented and there are over four pages of classic book and kit reviews with the latter assessing new releases from seven of the most well-known 'cottage industry' stalwarts of the period.Great vintage ads make this a real nostalgia trip. One copy only in very good condition.
