HIGH-LEVEL HALBERSTADT!

One of the lead articles in this issue is an amazing super-detailed build log of the Blue Max 1:48 scale Halberstadt CL.II with some fabulous colour photos adorning the rear cover. The modeller responsible is master craftsman Tom Morgan  and the degree of extra detail and careful camouflage reproduction he's put in is  real eye candy! We also have part two of Alberto's Italian two-seater colours series, this time showcasing  Pomilio biplanes, and Harry Woodman takes a very close look at the famous French Voisin III  pushers with rare images and his own exemplary drawings. Over nine pages of detailed kit, book and decal reviews emphasize the healthy WWI-orientated marketplace whilst we catch a glimpse of the extraordinary multi- colour camouflage worn by Ansaldo A-1 fighters with original flying surfaces in colour!

IN this packed-out edition Tom Morgan super-details the 1:48 scale Blue Max Halberstadt CL.II kit to an extraordinary level with colour and monotone images  revealing his amazing handiwork that must be seen to be believed. Anyone building the 1:32 scale Wingnut Wings Halberstadts will find all this incredibly useful regardless of the size disparity. On other pages, Alberto Casirati describes the colours and markings of the Italian Pomilio biplanes in the second instalment of his new series with nine photos and a colour paint chart, whilst Harry Woodman provides the first of a two-part modeller's guide on the Voisin III pushers with nine revealing photos and five sketches of details and rigging points. There are over eight pages of detailed kit and accessory reviews showcasing plastics, resins and some unique printed card Zeppelin models. As well as all the other departments there's a markings  exclusive on the Bergamo Ansaldo A.1 exhibit with colour images of its original, and rather surprising, wing and tail camouflage.
