Vickers Vimy

​​​​​​​Published in 1994 to celebrate the  reproduction Vickers Vimy G-EAOU's  flight to Australia, this detailed monograph includes four  pages of 1:72 scale drawings and over 100 archive photos including 21 close-ups in 44 pages with two in full colour.Although too late to see service in WWI, the Vimy achieved immortal fame as a pioneer of post-war inter-continenal flights such as Alcock and Brown's dramatic Atlantic crossing in 1919.Jack Bruce has written a great tribute to this classic aircraft in his own inimitable style.
