Published in 1985 by Arms and Armour Press, this 64 page softback is written by Ray Rimell and contains 118 photographs tracing the history of the RFC's WWI aeroplanes in graphic style.From the famous DH2 pusher fighter to the Vickers Vimy,scores of classic aircraft are illustrated with detailed caption information. The author has been assisted by many leading authorities in the field who generously  contributed rare images from  their extensive collections and the result is a valuable pictorial record of the Royal Flying Corps.
