As an extra-special bonus we have included a full set of Harry's Fotocut PE detail parts in 1:48 scale that suit a wide variety of subjects. AN original 1975 edition of Harry Woodman's classic Scale Model Aircraft in Plastic Card published by Argus Books who saddled this wonderful paperback with a truly awful cover design that the author loathed-and rightly so! Most WWI aeroplane model enthusiasts are familiar with this book which was a real trailblazer back in the day with a battery of new processes that opened up a whole new world to modellers and inspiring many to emulate the author's well-tried techniques. Liberally illustrated with dozens of archive and model photos, plus many excellent drawings by Harry, made this a must-have title for any discerning model enthusiast. There is a mass of material within these pages that repays repeated study-the author really knows his subject inside out-and his book has been considered the pinnacle of modelling literature. If all that sounds like hyperbole, it really isn't for the book deserves all the many accolades heaped upon it over the years. We have one well-thumbed copy available that comes with a really unique extra!
*Harry was the first to explore the opportunities of photo-etching for scale modellers and in the 1970s produced his own detail sets produced exclusively by Fred Hultberg of Fotocut. One of these complete sets, together with instructions and a copy of the Scale Models February 1994 edition where the whole process was described, is included! It's all you need in this exceptional one-off package only available here!
