THE BULLDOG BREED!

Serving with the RAF during the 1930s as its first line of defence and equipping ten squadrons, the feisty Bristol Bulldog also performed memorable formation aerobatics at many pre-war public air displays. Popular with kit manufacturers over the years the type has been immortalised by Inpact in 1968 and later by Airfix in two scales. C F Andrew's Profile is the perfect reference for builders of these kits with 30 rare photos; detailed history and superb colour plates depicting  colourful markings of seven Bulldog squadrons. VGC.

CAMM'S CLASSIC!

FRANK Mason wrote this stand-out Profile on one of the most attractive and distinctive of all pre-war RAF fighters with detailed narrative, evocative photos and detailed appendices. This concise chronicle can be firmly recommended to anyone building a model of the Fury regardless of scale. Colour plates on the inner covers illustrate a great selection from a five-view of K5682, a late series training machine based at RAF College Cranwell, to three Persian examples powered by radial engines. Our copies are in good condition with mild creasing in some places.

BOEING! BOEING!

Profile Publications No.27 in the original 'pink' series is in good condition and only slightly creased. Superb colour artwork on inner covers supported by Pete Bowers' learned text with 38 archive photos of the type and its sub variants. Published in 1965.

FLEET FLYER!

THE 56th Profile Publication was devoted to the Fairey Flycatcher, a highly successful Naval fighter of the 1930s that served exclusively with the Fleet Air Arm aboard six Royal Navy aircraft carriers. In this excellent study written by Owen Thetford, there are over two dozen captivating photos and some excellent colour profiles on the inner covers by James Goulding  and Richard Ward: in a break from tradition there's a perspective colour illustration of floatplane N9678 to emphasize its stencil markings.

CHAMPION GLADIATOR!

Written and published in 1966, this classic Profile,No,98 in the series, chronicled the RAF's legendary Gloster Gladiator fighter biplane, the last of its kind to serve the RAF.  With many rare photos, noted historian Frank Mason presents an authentic and detailed reference just perfect for those modelling this classic aircraft. Includes colour profiles of 10 individual machines serving with four nations. Or copy is a little careworn with a few inevitable creases but remains complete.
