Written by J M Bruce in 1966 is this detailed 12 page study of the French-designed Hanriot HD.1 fighter that was overlooked by its own country'sarmed forces but used to good effect in WWI by Belgian and Italian air arms.Containing 28 half-tone archive images, this modest study also includes coverage of the HD-2 convert and fighter seaplane versions. The inside front cover has a full colour five-aspect of an 82a Squadriglia example Hd 11344. On the inside back cover,more side profiles provide insignia and markings for a pair of Belgian Hanriots and five Italian versions.The spine of this copy is a little creased but the book is complete.
