Pheon Decals sheet 48005 covers over a dozen colourful 1918 German fighters that served with Jasta 40S under Ltn. Carl Degelow who carried a silver-white stag into battle emblazoned on his aircraft. There are two such examples on this fine sheet-one for his Pfalz D.IIIa and Fokker D.VII with their black fuselages and white tails. The personal motifs of other Jasta 40S luminaries are also presented including : Rosenstein; Raab; Jeschonnek; Auer; Hertel; Frodien; Gilly; Groll and the white and green Albatros D.VA of Hermann Dilthy. These markings are meticulously rendered on this fine sheet by Fantasy Printshop and are so good we have included an extra set of the two 48005 sheets in our package! Fulsome notes and colour profiles accompany the decals and also included is a copy of Profile Publications' No.43 Pfalz D.III by Peter Gray published in 1965 together with a slightly used sheet of Americal Gryphon 1:48 scale Four-Colour Lower Lozenge Camouflage.
