Another  great antique classic from yesteryear-a Guillow's flying model kit of the classic Sopwith Camel! This original balsa and tissue scale model from 1957 is complete and can be flown by rubber band, electric or Co2 power sources. One example only in good condition.

Here's another in the classic mini series of 12 small WWI flying scale Guillow's balsa models-this one is  from 1957! With a wingspan of just 18 inches and a length of 11 and a quarter inches on assembly,this classic vintage kit comes with full-size modelling plans, scale drawings, instruction notes with plenty of balsa strip wood, die-cut fuselage formers and wing ribs plus covering tissue, a decal sheet, plastic injection-moulded cowling; vacform semi-pilot; wheels and airscrew. Guillow's balsa kits can be made into great little static models and were designed for rubber power but can be adapted for small .010 glow gas motors,electric or Co2 power.Kit includes a plywood bulkhead and detailed instructions for power conversion. The detailed plans also provide templates for all die-cut parts,plus scale airscrew-not supplied. The scale is approximately 5/8 ins.to the foot.
