GUILLOW'S NIEUPORT 11
This 24'' span flying scale model from Guillow's was first released in 1958 and builds into an accurate model of the famed French 'Vee-strutter' fighter of 1915/16. Our example is in very good condition and provides all the die-cut fuselage formers and wing ribs plus stripwood to complete it. As well as the full-size building plans, scale drawings and colour notes, this kit includes silver grey tissue covering material, large decal sheets plus vacform cowling, pseudo rotary engine, pilot figure and Lewis gun. There's also a 3-ply former for mounting a gas engine if desired and the hard plastic content provides wheels in two halves and the airscrew for rubber power. The rubber motor is also included but I cannot vouch for its veracity after all these years! With a wingspan of 24'' the model is to 1:12 scale and will grace any flying field!
