DATAFILE 84-FOKKER D.VI
THE Fokker D.VI biplane never enjoyed extensive wartime service use ,only a handful of units operating the type, but it did serve extremely well as a trainer giving fledgling pilots useful experience in handling rotary-engined fighters. Although the available D.VI photo record is somewhat limited, author Peter M Grosz supports his narrative with a fine collection of photographs and contemporary drawings with highly detailed scale plans in the two popular scales of 1:48 and 1:72 by Marty Digmayer for both V 13/1 and production D.VI versions that also include structural details of the airframe.Full colours and markings data is provided by series editor Ray Rimell who also contributes the three rear cover colour profiles. These are our last remaining copies and all in good condition.
