One of the Limited Edition series of 70th Battle of Britain anniversary diecasts from the famous Corgi brand. This 1:72 scale model of the WWII Boulton Paul Defiant turret fighter is in the markings of Flt. Lt. D G Donald and Plt. Off. A C Hamilton of No. 141 Squadrion circa July 1940. This super accurate pre-painted and finished diecast has plug-in optional raised or lowered undercarriage parts;two types of rear fuselage fairing-open or closed-and all the requisite aerial masts in either extended or retractable configuration.There's an attractive two piece display stand too,and it all comes in special interior bubble pack contained inside the attractive glossy box. We have just one of these excellent models, which are no longer generally available-at a special reduced Christmas one-off price. For collector's the catalogue number is AA39301....
