ARDPOL 1:72 LVG.C.II resin!
ARDPOL's ultra-sharp all-resin kit is a perfect miniature of this early German WWI two-seater design.First released in 2002, the kit ceased production not long after and we have just one mint example. Moulded in resin-no white metal or etched parts- this is as complete a kit you could wish for with every part cast in resin to an extremely high degree of scale fidelity and accuracy. There's a comprehensive set of cockpit parts that nestle within the fine-section fuselage halves along with the superb little 160-hp Mercedes motor. These kits typically feature subtle and realistic-looking surface details and this one is no exception. The treatment of the wing ribs is particularly good with even the characteristic kinked aileron design perfectly captured. The four wing panels are card-mounted with the instruction leaflets providing scale plans, assembly schematic and painting notes. Marking are provide on a sharp decal sheet for Polish Ago-built trainer C.II 5230/18 (ex-German Army Air Service; the German C.2364/15 with Eiserne Kreuze, plus additional serials for C.II 342/16.
