HIGH FLYER!!!

THE  original September 1995-published DATAFILE 35 profiling the superb Rumpler C.IV two seater reconnaissance aircraft that served the German Army Air Corps so well in the First World War. Written and illustrated by Peter M Grosz, this 36 page image-laden monograph contains over 73 rare  photos from the author's extensive archives together with contemporary airframe detail sketches made from study of a captured example in 1918. Ian Stair provides the detailed 1:72 and 1:48 scale drawings and Ray Rimell contributes model survey, colours and markings section plus the three rear cover colour profiles.  An absolute goldmine of information...

FIRST published in September 1992, this is our last remaining copy of the acclaimed Peter Grosz classic DATAFILE 35 devoted to one of the most successful of all WWI German two-seater high flyers. Even Major James McCudden VC treated them with respect...  36 pages are packed with rare archive photos; scale plans in 1:48 and 1:72 from Ian R Stair, together with many close-up airframe photos and contemporary sketches to provide the ultimate reference for Rumpler modellers in whatever scales they favour. Detailed colours and markings overview is presented, along with three full colour profiles on the rear cover by series editor Ray Rimell. Few minor creases of the covers and some pages are evident but otherwise this is a clean copy and complete making this a compelling addition for collectors.
