THE ULTIMATE LVG!
AN original 2009-dated WNW LVG C.VI in perfect condition with all contents still in their un-opened factory-sealed clear bags-including the five sheet decal set and instruction manual. The kit had sold out by 2012-a measure of its popularity-and we have two examples in stock of which this mint example is the first on offer. It comes with several extra items including an as-new HGW super detail set with loads of PE add-ons; wood-grain decals; paint masks and pre-coloured textile seat belts to enhance the kit still further. In addition, there's a special bonus in the shape of three extremely rare figures intended for WNW Special Edition kits that were sadly never released. These come pre-painted in authentic colours and are absolutely unique...
AN absolutely mint [as new] example of Wingnut Wings' LVG C.VI as originally released in 2009 along with the Junkers J.I; Bristol Fighter and SE5a kits and all exclusively featured in WINDSOCK International, Vol.25, No.2. Entire contents remain in their original factory-sealed polythene sleeves including the decal sheets; PE and instruction manual. This is a superb 1:32 scale model kit of the 1918 German two-seater and embodies excellent surface details on all parts with perfect outline accuracy. Among many highlights are the multi-part 230-hp Benz Bz.IVa powerplant; hyper-detailed cockpit interiors; faultless fit of parts and expansive decal sets that not only provide a quintet of colourful examples, but also five-colour upper and lower printed fabric bolts together with a choice of rib tape colours. In every respect this is a stand-out production and one of the New Zealand manufacturer's most popular kits, selling out within three years, hence its 2017 re-introduction paired with the Sopwith F.1 [Clerget] Camel.
EXTRAS: Included in the box is an unopened HGW SET 132045 designed for this kit which offers: coloured textile seat belts and all necessary hardware in PE; faux wood grain decal panel and cut-out dashboards; two packed PE detail sheets with a full centre-section radiator mini-kit, plus internal controls; MG perforated cooling jackets; foot step plates and a masking set for wheel covers and windscreen-a most comprehensive collation. Also included are three unique painted figures from original WNW resin masters that were never released: a partial pilot truncated to fit the cockpit, plus his observer-both with authentic camouflaged steel helmets-and a typical monteur handing up a carrier pigeon.
