1929 PARNALL ELF

G-AAIN, the sole surviving example of the 1929 Parnall Elf,was acquired by the Shuttleworth Trust during 1951 in static condition and loaned out to Southend's Historic Aircraft Collection during 1972 after which it was returned to Old Warden.After an extensive restoration to flying condition by two former apprentice engineers it made its debut on the flight line in 1980.This original oil painting by renowned aviation artist  C E Coote was purchased at the Collection in the early 1980s and is now available from our website unframed .
