NEW! FOKKER F.I/DR.I Model Special by Ray Rimell/ Richard Alexander

Revell GB kit H.112 of the WWII German Luftwaffe Heinkel He.219 Uhu and first released in the UK during 1996. Brian Knight did the dramatic artwork for this super kit  which is from the artist's personal collection of kits that bear his commissioned work on their box tops. This example is in very good condition, complete with all the parts still affixed to their four runner frames.

MINT example of  Revell GB's 1966 release of the 1:72 scale  Heinkel He 219 'Owl' kit, pre-owned by the boxtop artist himself, Brian Knight, GAvA. This example is in extremely good condition with all parts still retained on their pretty pale blue frames, a colour also used on Revell's ME 109/ME 262 and 1:28 Fokker Triplane-oh!-the sheer nostalgia of it all! The original instructions are provided along with a modest decal sheet although I cannot vouch for its veracity now after all these years and so spraying it with a clear gloss acrylic might be a prudent procedure....

The 'Uhu' was initially to be a high speed bomber but eventually saw service as an effective nightfighter pitted against RAF bomber groups that attacked the Reich on their nightly incursions. The model includes the 'Lichenstein' nose radar and offers removable cowlings to reveal the DB603A motors-although not super-detailed they provide enough raw material for enthusiasts to work on. As the instructions thoughtfully point out the model requires '1/4 oz. of Plasticine' in its nose to  keep it from being a 'tail-sitter'.Personally I am unable to comment on the kit's accuracy but being an original issue it carries virtually zero flash on parts popped from a brand new mould. Just the one available.
