FURY SPECIAL WITH BONUS DECALS AND DRAWINGS!
THE very first plastic aeroplane Matchbox ever produced was the Hawker Fury Mk.1 released way back in 1972 and which they re-issued in 1975; 1983 and 1990 before Revell of Germany picked it up as their catalogue No.04693 a decade later. Content of our kit is in perfect condition with both runners safely secured in separate polythene bags, as is the decal sheet with markings for K2065 of No. 43 Squadron RAF backed by card for extra protection. Our unique package also includes extra decals for six alternative finishes provided by Print Scale on their 72-093 sheet with two pre-war RAF examples plus aircraft that served in Portuguese; Yugoslavian; SAAF and Spanish National air forces. *We have replaced the missing moulded windshield with thin acetate sheet along with 1:72 scale plans featuring suitable outlines for cutting out.

THIS 2010 Revell Hawker Fury Mk.1 is of course a re-issue of the venerable Matchbox kit PK-1 from 1972 but moulded in a medium grey much more appropriate than the original blue and cream-coloured parts! The little kit has stood the test of time extremely well and features some excellent surface detail on all major parts and the outlines are accurate.
NB: since our kit is missing the windscreen transparency, we have provided a section of thin acetate sheet to compensate-far more to scale anyway-along with full 1:72 scale three-view drawings by Harry Woodman providing correct outlines from which to cut a replacement windscreen using the clear material.
EXTRAS! Also in this unique package is Print Scale decal sheet 72-093 with markings and full- colour guides for six colourful options: RAF K1930 of No.43 Squadron; K5682 from the ATF Cranwell college; aluminium-finished Portuguese Mk.1; 1939 Yugoslav Air Force No.43; 4W.1 operated by the Spanish Nationalists in the Civil War and a 1942 Mk.1 of No.43, SAAF-plus a contemporary colour chart of squadron markings employed by RAF fighter units between the wars.
