ANSALDO IN POST-WAR SERVICE!
In 1:72 scale, is this superbly moulded and detailed rendition of the famous Italian Ansaldo S.V.A 5 which comes with a choice of colourful post-war markings with two sets of decals,vac-formed windshield and several optional parts. Full colour data is provide under the eye-catching box and the clear instructions present useful rigging schematics. One of the best kits of this well-known Italian design to appear.
Best known of Italy's aircraft designs in WWI was the Ansaldo S.V.A.5 and here is a superb 1:72 scale kit of the late version from Fly of the Czech Republic. Moulded in light beige, kit 72002 is both accurate and extremely sharply-moulded with the distinctive 'Warren Truss' wing struts being presented as thinly as possible in the injection-moulded process.There is a choice of radiator styles, each of which untraditionally bear a peg for the airscrew with its opened centre to be glued on post assembly. As well as the plastic parts,there's a neat floor/tank/rudder bar/floor unit provided as a one-piece resin fixture which includes the seat and its strap detail.This is the late version of the S.V.A. 5 with the flat louvred panel under the nose provided as a separate piece.Also included are a choice of vac-formed windscreens and a resin cockpit floor/seat casting plus colourful decal sheets (duplicated!) for three eye-catching markings' options illustrated under the box: a post-war 11988 with the highly colourful fuselage banners; an airmail transport version of 1919 and a civilian S.V.A.5 I-BRIL from the Breda School in 1925.
