From Czech CMR, a really stunning resin kit of the 1918 French Morane Saulnier Type AI parasol monoplane, one of the first models produced of this attractive design. All parts are resinous and will demand a careful modeller to prepare the super-fine smaller pieces once removed from their delicate webs. Detail is first class, with accurate structure representation and provision for a rotating powerplant/airscrew assembly. Full instructions, colour notes and drawings plus a really high-grade decal set with two choices of decor add perfect finishing touches. ONE of several classic 1980's CzechMaster resins (CMR) WWI resin kits re-purposed for a later generation of modellers in 1999, this petite Type AI Parasol monoplane is both accurate in outline and highly detailed. For the reissue resin parts are unchanged-and not necessary since the originals were near-perfect anyway. Razor-sharp wings and tail unit feature ultra-realistic rib stations and the corpulent fuselage shells carry the most authentic stringered structure representation ever created in this scale. Most of the delicate'struttery' needs cautious coaxing from fine web material encasing them and removal should be done with utmost care as these fine pieces are very fragile. The cockpit section comprises of 10 parts with an accurately perforated seat and the cowling features all the cooling slots precisely positioned.
An A4 instruction leaflet presents six exploded diagrams and six tone profiles overleaf showing camouflage patterns and colour notations. In addition there's a full colour card sheet showcasing Moranes from Esc. MSP.152 and Esc.MSP. 156 by Chris VBaryl Riepel. All in support of a great MPD decal sheet with one set of cocardes along with rudder stripes and unit markings.
