RELEASED in 2006 Choroszy Modelbud's long-fuselage Junkers D.I kit in 1:72 scale featuring hyper-detailed resin parts throughout is complete with authentic decals and a small clear film sheet for a windscreen. Accurate in outline, the representation of the typical trademark Junkers corrugated skin is exemplary. Both our popular DATAFILE titles on the Junkers monoplanes sold extremely well and we have just one copy of DATAFILE 33 in stock, whilst 1:72 scale drawings from that title were reprinted in WINDSOCK International Vol.20, No.6, November/December 2004 -limited copies of which are available in store-please see relevant links below...

Choroszy Modelbud's 1:72 scale resin of the long-fuselaged variant of the revolutionary Junkers D.I all-metal monoplane fighter of 1918 is one of their best*. Kit No.A166 was issued in 2006 including all resin parts to complete the model and features full cockpit and engine bay inside the beautifully detailed fuselage halves with their subtle corrugations. That finesse is carried over to the wing panels and delicate tail unit,whilst the virtually one-piece resin Mercedes powerplant is a gem in its own right. As well as decals for Junk.D.I 5929/17,we have added Aeroclub white metal 'Spandaus',wheels and an Axial airscrew. Our CM Junkers is in mint condition-one only.
