1:72 CHOROSZY KONDOR D.VI

 NEW FOR AUGUST!

From Poland's Choroszy Modelbud, a superb resin of the revolutionary Kondor D.VI fighter prototype of 1918 with its split upper wing  affording the pilot with an unobstructed upwards view. Complete with five-colour 'lozenge' decals to cover the airframe. Mint condition.

THE Kondor D.VI was designed in 1918 in early Spring 1918 by Dr. Ing. Walther Rethal and the history of this revolutionary design, together with Colin Owers' scale plans, was published in Volume 13, No.5 of WINDSOCK International (Sept./Oct.1997)-still available- written by renowned historian Peter Grosz. Choroszy Modelbud's kit (No. A207) is extremely well modelled   with all parts required to complete it in high grade resin of incredible finesse ,from the distinctive perforated cowling over the 145-hp Oberursel Ur.III ,five-piece interior and authentic fuselage halves, to the razor-thin wings and tail feathers. There were no national markings visible on the prototype which was covered overall in five-colour printed 'lozenge' fabric-ample decal material for upper and lower surfaces with Techmod's 72113D sheets  completing  the package.
