1:72 CHOROSZY KONDOR E.3/E.3a Swiss version.

NEW FOR AUGUST!

Unique parasol -winged monoplane of 1918 that showed great promise at 1918 Fighter Competitions but proved tricky to fly.Post war a few examples were operated in Switzerland and Holland. This fine kit offers a precise miniature of the design which was reported as being superior to the more well-known Fokker D.VIII...

Kit No. A208 from CM is the late war parasol fighter from Kondor, their E.3 which featured a fully wood-clad parasol wing with raised ribs to provide additional strength. Powered by a Goebel  Goe III rotary, the E.3a variant performed  extremely well and prototypes of these aircraft at the late war Fighter Competitions were highly regarded. This resin kit portrays this unique design perfectly in 1:72. That distinctive wing planform is precise and the multitudinous fine detail parts-including both Ur.III and Goe.III rotaries are tiny masterpieces. Two styles of cowling are supplied along with decals for national markings and full five colour' lozenge' from Techmod.See WS Vol.13, No.2 for plans feature with many rare photos.
