1:72 AZmodel MARTINSYDE F.4 'BUZZARD'

BIRD OF PREY!

The fabulous Martinsyde F.4 Buzzard of 1918 never saw service in WWI and its superlative qualities never tested in combat. This May 2011 AZmodel injection-moulded kit is well engineered with excellent surface detail overall. We have one mint example in original packaging with resin engine and a decal sheet offering RAF and Belgian markings-full colour guides for which appear under the box. This is  their kit No. AZ 7341 ...

Released in May 2011,this injection-moulded Martinsyde F.4 is a well-detailed and accurate-in-outline 1:72 scale kit of the powerful 1918-designed British fighter biplane thats true potential was never realized.Too late for WWI operations, the Buzzard was exported to many countries post-war including Belgium; Finland; Latvia; Poland and Russia.Kit AZ 7341 offers decals for the RAF's D4260 and a typical Belgian air service example. The underneath box colour profiles present three-views of both aircraft and a red/white striped F.4 for which decals are not supplied.Plenty of masking tape and patience will be required to finish this one! As well as the 32 moulded parts there is a one-piece resin Hispano Suiza motor powerplant to drop into the nose cavity. This example of a now discontinued kit is offered in near mint condition with all parts in their unopened bags. The slightly damaged box has been repaired. Of all the surprisingly numerous model kits of the Buzzard produced over the years this is probably the best injection-moulded version yet produced.
