AN HANRIOT FOR THE MATELOTS!
Based upon the earlier JMGT HD.I kit with extra parts and all new decals,this is the HD.2 floatplane version of Dupont's classic WWI design*. Comes with a great decal sheet offering no less than nine colourful variants- all detailed in the instructions. Some minor 'repair' work is required on a couple of pieces but otherwise the kit is in VGC.

THIS is the French JMGT 1:48 scale resin kit of the sea-booted Hanriot HD.2 first released in 1993. With many common parts to the company's contemporary HD. I kit, the floatplane version's extra parts included two Vickers machine guns; both styles of enlarged vertical fins and rudders, along with a pair of one-piece resin floats and additional PE parts for super-detailing the white metal rotary engine.
Please note that the elevators are separated from the tailplane, being very finely cast, and that one of the central "W" struts is in three pieces-all easily cured by application of thinly-applied Cyano' type glues. The real highlight of this unique kit is its expansive decal sheet with finely-printed decals for nine distinctively-marked examples with French and USN markings, unit and personal decor and all requisite serials. Full instructions are provided for colours and markings of a truly diverse selection and apart from the aforementioned mild defects, this rare kit remains in very good condition.
