ONE of very few remaining copies of DATAFILE 13 by Peter M Grosz, this is the 1999 edition with revised plans,fresh colour profiles and several textual errors corrected. To support his learned narrative Peter presents 60 rare photos from his own extensive private archive-a dozen being highly informative close-ups of engine installations;exhaust patterns, cockpits and armament fit. Ian Stair provides the 1:48 and 1:72 scale plans and there is a section on colours and markings together with tabular appendices covering licence manufacturers; production orders; serial allocations and detailed specifications. The rear cover presents four colour side view profiles and tail plan-form for C.106/16.Other examples depict C.766/16 with its spectacular crocodile and dragon fuselage motifs and C.722/16 with segmented rear fuselage bandings. Our copies are in very good condition despite a few minor creases on the front cover with its evocative Brian Knight artwork.
