THIS excellent 1:350 scale Q Class Zeppelin kit, injection-moulded by Takom with PE detail parts, was released concurrently with a shorter-hulled P Class kit in 2021. Pretty easy to assemble, but challenging to paint the LZ107 multi-colour camouflage scheme shown on the box top which was more likely to have had the irregular areas in plain black... This excellent kit is complete, in mint order and comes packaged with a free bonus plastic kit of a P Class Zeppelin to smaller 1:720 scale from Mark 1 Models!
SURPRISE release in 2021 by Takom of Hong Kong was this injection-moulded Q Class Zeppelin to 1:350 scale-perfectly compatible with WWI German warship models providing some great dioramic possibilities! Fairly simple to construct with over 34 parts and a PE detail sheet of gondola struts, outriggers and radiators, the manufacturers appear to have based this on our drawings in Zeppelin Vol.1, the outlines of control/engine gondola, hull halves, hull lengthening sections and flying/control surfaces being an almost perfect match. Some mods will be necessary to reconfigure the multi-windowed aft car however, but otherwise it's plain sailing all the way. This kit also includes a four piece transparent stand set-up that is less obtrusive than those of most other plastic airship model kits. There's a decal sheet that offers generic Eiserne Kreuze with bow numbers for the five options rendered in full colour inside the instruction booklet and adorning the box flanks: L20; L21; L23; LZ73 and camouflaged LZ107 for which seven photos and a more authentic colour profile are to be found in our aforementioned Zeppelin Special Volume 1. Although the kit's original polybag has been replaced with separate polybags, the contents are as originally sold and in mint condition.

Included with this unique package is a free 1:720 scale injection-moulded P Class Zeppelin LZ45/LZ58 kit which is in excellent condition and would also be ideal for a possible diorama display...
