AS-new example of the Meng [ex-Wingnut Wings] Fokker Dr.I Triplane with Red Baron resin bust in two parts for easy assembly. As one would expect from the kit's origins, it is accurate, beautifully detailed and the best plastic kit of the fabled Fokker triplane ever produced, only surpassed by the companies' 1:24 version. All content remains in the original, unopened polythene bags and our kit includes some great bonus materials: 1:32 scale hyper-detailed scale drawings; a set of Eduard's Die roten Flieger decals designed specifically for this kit with four options, and a professionally-painted Elan 13 resin figure of the man and his dog-in their original box. ..

MINT example of the Meng Fokker Dr.I in 1:32 scale that would have been released by Wingnut Wings if they had not sadly closed their doors in early 2016... Aside from the awkward box art and lacklustre instructions, this is an excellent kit of the famed Fokker Dreidecker and destined to remain the definitive plastic model, only matched by the ex-WNW 1:24 scale version that followed it in short order. The kit on offer is the second Meng issue with its superb two-piece resin bust of the Rittmeister that looks great if carefully painted and stood alongside your red-painted model. All parts and other contents remain in their factory-sealed sleeves and in perfect condition, although the issue with the detached starboard cockpit coaming from the mid wing is inevitably apparent-but easily fixed as are the slightly warped wing mouldings.*
EXTRAS! The kit features a spare eight page set of 1:32 scale drawings by Martin Digmayer from one of our Jagdstaffeln Specials; Eduard's superb decal set D32006 providing markings for the Baron's iconic 152/17; 424/17 [in both its transitional markings] and brother Lothar's 454/17 with yellow markings. Detailed colour notes accompany the sheet. Finally, we have a professionally-painted Elan13 Miniatures EL42 resin set of von Richthofen and Moritz in iconic pose and enclosed in the original red plastic box...
