SOPWITH WITH SEA BOOTS!
THIS first-class mixed medium kit in 1:32 builds into an impressive and accurate model of the Sopwith Baby floatplane with plenty of detail to keep the modeller busy. Full cockpit and forward fuselage components are supplied along with 3D printed Lewis guns and 112lb bombs as well as a superb mini-kit of a 110-hp Clerget 9B rotary engine. All struts have wire inserts to aid stability and there's a generous selection of PE detail parts with a three-option decal sheet of very high quality offering an excellent choice of colourful subjects. This 2020 Lukgraph kit is in mint condition and will add gravitas to any collection of 1:32 scale WWI Sopwith designs.
AS-new example of the 2020 Lukgraph mostly resin kit of the Sopwith Baby floatplane in 1:32 scale which builds into an accurate and neatly-detailed model. As well as the resin fuselage; flying/control surfaces; floats; cockpit components;float dolly and support trestles, there are a number of first-class 3D printed items:110-hp Clerget rotary engine; a pair of Lewis guns and two 112lb Cooper bombs. Densely populated PE sheet supplies dashboard; three windshield styles; cockpit fittings and seat harness; control horns and various fishplates. An excellent decal sheet provides markings for three examples including N-2071 in PC10 with red and white chequered cowling and forward panels (decals included); overall CDL finished Sopwith-built 8151 and another Blackburn-built PC 10 machine N-1437. Manufacturers' logos are accurately represented and roundel registration is perfect. Two styles of resin cowling are included and full painting and rigging guides appear on the colour-printed instruction booklet.
