132 LUKGRAPH HANRIOT HD.1 (32-048), 2023.
WELL-HEELED HANRIOT!
THIS superb multi-medium production from Lukgraph presents a fabulous 1:32 scale model of the delightful French Hanriot HD.1 which comes with a seven-option decal sheet offering exotic markings for Belgian, Italian and Swiss options plus a captured example in Austro-Hungarian markings! Stacks of finely-rendered 3D printed components include a one-piece fuselage box structure; super detailed rotary engine; full armament, cowling and plenty more. Detailed instructions provide rigging guides, multi colour views for the decal options plus a comprehensive PE sheet of detail parts including control horns, strut fixings; dashboard, instrument bezels as well as inspection panels for the fuselage exterior. Some of the 3D parts have come adrift and the central trestle is in two pieces but everything is secured in zip-loc polythene bags and there are no missing items. An absolute outstanding model of this popular and colourful WWI design.
NEAR-mint example of the 2023 1:32 scale Lukgraph Hanriot HD.1 French-deigned fighter. Major parts such as the well-detailed fuselage halves; wing panels and tail feathers with separate control surfaces are accurate in outline and cleanly cast. There's an internal box packed with multiple 3D printed parts: a complete Le Rhone 9J engine; wheels; seat components; ammo boxes and fuel tank; struts; Vickers guns and ammo feeds; windscreen; cowling; airscrew; full cockpit box frame; tail dolly and a somewhat precarious one-piece undercarriage unit. All these are individually bagged and in respect of the engine contain a number of parts that have become detached from the tree. The one-piece centre-section trestle has been severed in transit but the loose parts are bagged together and it can be re-joined with Cyano' cement. An excellent PE sheet carries external inspection panels; dashboard; bezels; seat harness; control horns and wires; fishplates; Lewis drum covers; strut fixings and much more-steel and copper wire is also contained in the package. Real highlight is the box-filling decal sheet with no less than seven spectacular finishing options all laid out on the colour printed instruction booklet. They provide three Belgian Hanriots flown by Willy Coppens: HD. Nos.23,24 and 75.Cowling and tail stripes are included for two of these, all extremely well-printed. Other choices are 660 and 662 Swiss examples; a captured machine in Austro-Hungarian markings plus three Italian options in aluminium-doped, overall CDL and full camouflage with all the complex Squadriglia markings faithfully reproduced.
