A PRETTY SHARP RAZOR!

An ex-Avis kit, with some cosmetic improvements but which remains a fairly simple model by 1:32 scale WWI kits' standards, so investment in Aviattic's various upgrades is firmly recommended. Moulded competently, the 108 part kit includes a reasonably well-detailed interior; multi-piece Oberursel rotary engine; choice of airscrews and  restrained surface detail throughout. Our example is in mint condition although the somewhat  flimsy box, with its entirely imaginary art of a black/yellow striped D.VIII!, requires care when removing it from our padded postal carton! The modest decal sheet provides one set of Balkenkreuze; instrumentation; Axial logos and control cable exit reinforcement patches. For your first foray into large scale WWI model kits, this one can hardly be bettered!

THE ORIGINAL VINTAGE MASTERPIECE! 

THIS truly ground-breaking large scale kit of the French WWI SPAD XIII was first released in 1957 along with an equally impressive red Fokker Triplane, both setting incredibly high bench marks that remained unassailable for several decades. These 1:27/1:28 scale highly- detailed and generally accurate kits have enjoyed almost continual production in various forms ever since they first appeared all those years ago. The kit on offer is an original 1957 first issue with three figures, rigging material and an excellent instruction  'broadsheet' that provides detailed painting and rigging notes accompanying  each stage of the build. All the long-separated parts of our kit have been carefully checked and  contained in a number of polythene bags for safety. This great model comes with a copy of the SPAD Profile, drawings and modelling notes from a contemporary edition of Aero-Modeller, along with 'scans' of the 'Revell's Classic SPAD' feature from WINDSOCK International Vol.9, No.4 which is no longer in print. AS-new example of the Meng [ex-Wingnut Wings] Fokker Dr.I Triplane with Red Baron resin bust in two parts for easy assembly. As one would expect from the kit's origins, it is accurate, beautifully detailed and the best plastic kit of the fabled Fokker triplane ever produced, only surpassed by the companies' 1:24 version. All content remains in the original, unopened polythene bags and our kit includes some great bonus materials: 1:32 scale hyper-detailed scale drawings; a set of Eduard's Die roten Flieger decals designed specifically for this kit with four options, and a professionally-painted Elan 13 resin figure of the man and his dog-in  their original box. ..

LAND CLERGET TRACTOR!

The first Sopwith Strutter kit by Roden of the Ukraine was released in 2023 and streets ahead of most others in their 1:32 scale series. The Sopwith two-seater is an impressive production with plenty of authentic cockpit details, crisp Clerget and twin gun armament as well as a number of unused bombs for  upcoming kits. Two main-planes as supplied, one with solid centre-section, the other with generous cut-outs for which thin acetate panels are provided. The kit is mint and comes with extra decals; engine frame; used Profile No.121, plus a xerox  copy of the original 1917 T.5 technical rigging notes with airframe sketches, annotated drawings and RAFwire diagram with all wire gauges and lengths specified.

THE REALLY BIG ONE!

* ENTIRELY complete, mint example of the amazing 2010 Wingnut Wings Gotha G.IV in breath-taking 1:32 scale is an absolute behemoth spanning nearly 30 ins. when built!  Our example has a full colour xerox copy instruction manual-the original being inexplicably lost-but everything else is exactly as packed by the factory. All the frames remain in their original cellophane sleeve -and that includes the extensive decal and PE sheets. This is undeniably the most extraordinary example of a WWI aeroplane ever kitted and only surpassed by Wingnut Wings themselves with introduction of their mind-blowing Felixstowe flying boats released a few years' later. Aside from a few creases, the capacious and  colourful box is in overall good shape, whilst the contents inside it are in top-notch condition.

 THE RAF'S FINEST FIGHTER!

Despite the garish box art,this is a pretty accurate model of the British SE5 WWI fighter in the usual Guillow's style with full instructions;balsa and plastic parts plus decals and covering tissue. This 1979 edition of the Guillow's classic is in tip-top condition and includes all the balsa parts and strip; tissue covering and decals; vacformed plastic parts and hard polystryrene wheel halves; required to complete a fine flying scale model of the classic Thomas Morse S4C Scout of 1918. One of their most popular kits of the time and we are able to offer this single mint example to our customers....
