NEW! FOKKER F.I/DR.I Model Special by Ray Rimell/ Richard Alexander

WINGNUT WINGS kitset 32035 -the AMC DH9-from 2013 was always one of the most unexpected and comprehensive additions to the New Zealand company's extensive catalogue. Meticulously researched and executed this remains the definitive model kit of the ill-starred 1918 design fitted with the unreliable Siddeley-Deasey 'Puma' engine that caused  Front-line units  equipped with the 'Nine' so many problems. The kit is in mint order and includes a pair of unpainted resin figures plus an HGW photo-etched detail set together with a copy of the sold-out Datafile 72; plus unique reference package with actual photos and xerox copies from the DH9 parts list!

Now includes a free copy of Guy Black's superb hardback book DH9-From Ruin to Restoration -a personal journey to recover the wreck of a rare DH9 from India and restore it to fully flying condition!

MINT example of the WINGNUT WINGS AMC DH9 kitset 32035 released on 5 December 2013 and now difficult to obtain despite it never having officially sold out...This is a really superb kit with a dozen crammed frames bearing parts along with two decal sheets and the obligatory PE detail set.The contents include a magnificent mini-kit of the Siddeley-Deasey 'Puma' engine that proved so unreliable in service,as well as highly accurate bombs racks and armament along with the two fully equipped cockpits. This example is as purchased with its full complement of 287 parts but includes many unique extras including an HGW Models' etched nickel DH9 interior set 132123 that will afford modellers to really bring the cockpit areas alive! We have also included a pair of unpainted resin RFC/RAF figures for display along with the following rare items:a copy of the out-of-print DATAFILE No. 72 by J M Bruce;three close-up photos of the Paris survivor;a period DH9 postcard plus xerox copies from the original 1918 DH9 parts list with many internal details, rigging diagrams and much else. There are over a dozen A4 sheets of these and although a bit faded they are clearly legible and will prove vital reference for modellers of this kit.

Mint copy of 'DH9-From ruin to restoration-the extraordinary story of the discovery in India & return to flight of a rare WWI bomber' written and conceived by Guy Black. This excellent liberally-illustrated account was published by Grub Street in 2019 at £20.00.

Fabulous colour images taken during the rebuild offer vital reference for modellers of the Wingnut Wings kit!
