ONE of two German 'heavies' from Wingnut Wings, the late version of the porcine AEG G.IV-a fabulously well-designed and accurately detailed kitset (# 320420) was released on 27 February 2015 and is no longer generally available.This superbly-comprehensive kit comprises over 400 plastic parts and 17 detail photo-etch pieces. It includes a pair of detailed Daimler-Benz D.IVa motors that can be fully exposed with optional nacelle fairing panels.Five Cartograf sheets provide a choice of five examples with full decals including four sheets of special 'night lozenge' pre-tailored to fit the main parts.Options include bomb loads in three weights;airscrews and weighted tyres.There is also a tail dolly for display purposes. Spanning an impressive 57cm on completion,the kit provides the usual lavish instruction manual including full painting,decal placement and rigging schematics.
