This superb four-pack set of over 95 accurate resin cast parts provide most all the fittings for Titanic's fore and aft decks in 1:144 scale.Produced by Peter Davies-Garner,distinguished Titanic historian,writer and modeller, accuracy is assured. All parts will require cleansing prior to use and are designed to complement the Hahn photo-etch sheets .One pre-owned set only in very good condition.
This is a very special four-pack collection of accurate 1:144 scale resin parts for the fore and aft decks of Titanic.Each pack contains relevant scale drawing to 1:144 and a list of parts which are numbered and correspond to numbers marked up on the plans making identification and accurate positioning very simple.The four packs cover:
Forecastle: comprising over 44 parts including bollards;capstans;cargo hatches;steam winch assemblies;stream anchor; fairleads; chain races;telephones and more.
Forward well deck:comprising over 20 parts including:bollards,Nos.2 and 3 cargo hatches; electric crane bases; vents; cargo rollers watertight doors, etc.
Aft well deck:comprising a dozen parts including bollards,Nos.5 and 6 cargo hatches;a pair of electric cranes;vent,winch and low rollers.
Poop deck:comprising over 30 parts including:electric cranes ;electric winch ;bollards;capstans;capstan wheel pedestals; stream anchor; steering room skylights and more.
All produced by Peter Davies-Garner ,the various parts have been designed to fit with the Robert Hahn photo etched sets. So for building the cranes modellers will need to employ the jibs from the PE material as these are not possible to cast in resin;same goes for the steam valve wheels.The Forecastle set contains instructions and preparation for painting. These fittings are extremely accurate and will be vital attributes for any 1:144 scale Titanic model. The scrap views are from Peter's classic book RMS Titanic-a modelmaker's manual which is perhaps the very best modelling book for Titanic currently available.
