The revolutionary LVG C.IV  two-seater with its 'straight-eight' Mercedes D.IV  engine was one of the most distinctive of WWI German aircraft. It was a C.IV that was the first heavier than air-craft to bomb London -on 28 November 1916 dropping six small bombs on Brompton and Victoria Station. Peter M Grosz's DATAFILE  provides detailed scale drawings of this largely unsung type  in 1:72 and 1:48 from Martin Digmayer, plus colourful profiles, all supported by over 56 rare archive photos from the author's unrivalled collection.
