The revolutionary LVG C.IV two-seater with its 'straight-eight' Mercedes D.IV engine was one of the most distinctive of WWI German aircraft.It was a C.IV that was the first heavier than air-craft to bomb London -on 28 November 1916 dropping six small bombs on Brompton and Victoria Station.
