 DURING WWI,Austro-Hungarian aeroplane manufacturers Phonix and UFAG shared production of the German-designed Hansa Brandenburg C.I with the parent company ,making this rugged and reliable two- seater the most numerous type in service with the Dual Monarchy-over 1200 being produced.Between them ,the companies produced the C.I in a variety of series as the design was continually being  refined to embrace more powerful motors and undertake variable roles within the LFT. Colin A Owers'  unique DATAFILE  provides over 105 photos and also presents eight pages of detailed GAs of all major series aircraft.
